DING

Welcome to America.  Please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened until we have come to a complete stop and the captain has removed the fasten seatbelt sign.

It is like waking up from a 7 month dream.  Here I am in AZ with everything just as I left it, while I have been transformed by special experiences and special people to a new me.  Sure the gas prices are a little higher and Sarah Palin is a little dumber, but the changes brought about within me are much more drastic.

These changes shine a new light on every subject.  I am excited by this new light, but also depressed to be immersed within an ignorant society, deprived of such light.

I came to a conclusion while traveling; the world in which we inhabit is far too big.  I am eager to explore and see as much of it as possible.

I have been in 29 out of the 193 countries of the world.  My goal is to keep my list of countries higher than my years, but I don't think that I will live to be 193.

It also makes me sad that there are so many amazing corners of the world that I will never discover.  I might miss out on what would be my favorite place in the world.

Our reality and course of life is dependent upon prior experiences.  I am a believer that a more diverse collection of experiences leads to a richer life... however, who am I to say what a rich life is?

SO, I am here.

I am also:

  • Adapting to society
  • Excited for a life with new views
  • Thankful for connections made abroad
